This illustration features my good friend Jay Thompson. Somehow, I convinced him to climb into a tree and model in some very difficult positions for a previous illustration. The payment was probably in Riesen dark chocolate chews and Pappa Johns bread sticks... I feel ashamed and amused by my own cheapness.

So hard not to fav this for the description alone... but that would be silly, so I gathered myself up and looked at the picture long enough to be faving it for the artsy quality. :) The way there seems to be a dark, endless space opening up over him is just yum. And I like how he's wearing sneakers with the suit.

haha! I wouldn't hold it against you, but I'm glad you like it for multiple reasons, even if it took a bit of work to get there. ;)
